Definition
DIT is a non-stock, non-profit organization of Christian health professionals whose purpose is to reach out to colleagues and to the world in obedience to God`s kingdom agenda and to edify Christians, through the medical ministry.

Mission
To attain our vision, we have the following mission strategies.
A. Evangelism. To make Jesus known through the medical ministry through:
1. Evangelistic Dinners
2. Postgraduate Courses (The Medical Profession: a Unique Calling)
3. Medical Campus Ministry
4. Medical Missions
5. Personal Evangelism
B. Edification. To help Christian colleagues grow in their spiritual walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, through:
1. Discipleship / Bible Studies
2. Evangelism & Discipleship Seminars
3. Christian Bash / Fellowship
4. Prayer Rallies / Meetings
5. Retreats
C. Expansion. To encourage Christian colleagues to replicate DIT vision and mission in their locality, through:
1. Outreach Programs
(3-in-1: professional advancement, medical mission & Christian fellowship)
2. Networking with other Christian organizations
3. Helping organize provincial chapters and satellites
D. Endowment. To raise support for strategic activities undertaken by DIT:
1. Financial
2. Manpower
3. Material Resources
